Sure you can do a 360 degree spin. 3ds Max allows you to animate a controller up to 720 degrees between two keyframes if you want. Typically, you'll do this in track view, because most applications do ...

1) If I can afford to pay for the high end systems (say, 3ds Max), then I will, because I won't have to worry about being a pirate; I'd g ...

Software protection is, for all intents and purposes, dead. Trying to stamp it out will be as successful as the RIAA and MPAA efforts to stamp out MP3 sharing or movie sharing. What you can do, as a s ...

In general, you would have a crease angle, where edges less than the crease angle are smooth, and greater than the crease angle are sharp. A typical value for games is 40 degrees. If you're going to c ...

It doesn't matter how good you can UV map in DeleD, if common operations like CSG or Optimize will screw up the mapping you've already built.

There are bugs in every app.

True. However, when bug ...

If it's not clear: I have already moved on. I will not be paying to upgrade to 2.0.

There are two ways of making money on a software product.

1) Build a good product that solves the needs of some people well. Those people become your core customers, and they will evangelize for yo ...

Now that's a random question if I ever saw one!

Whom are you asking? And in what context? Referring back to what other post (given the "yet")?

So let me answer the new question:

it's pretty impossible to maintain UV's when new poly's are made

In 3ds Max, when you use CSG, not only are the UVs retained (which is quite easy, because you ...

Well, "you" are not "me." I work in a very incremental fashion, ...

There is already such a tool, and it's cheaper than DeleD: It's Milkshape.
Personally, I just want DeleD to actually work for what I'm trying to use it for: level building. Right now, it doesn't actu ...

As you all know, I've always thought DeleD shouldn't be doing animation, because it's a complex feature, and it's not something that strengthens DeleDs current market, which is level building.
