What is bryce good for? The only things with it I ever see on renderosity are the same 3 terrains posted over and over.

You can generate a large number of procedural terrains and renders. The most common use is for a variety of sky boxes/domes/spheres.

If someone renders a really nice and 'neutral' skybox using this free version of Bryce we would be very interested to include it in the DeleD distribution... Very Happy

I actually paid for 5.5 a few years back...

Anyway, the best way I've found to get skies out of Bryce is to render a very large panorama (3000 pixels across) and then map that using cylindrical texture mapping on to a sky sphere. Not exactly a skybox, but does the same job (assuming your renderer can deal with sky spheres).
