NEW POST
===============================================

Hello DeleD forum!
So, it has been a while i showed my work here at the forum. So to make it up with you guys i would like to show you a WIP video of my personal portfolio demo made in UDK. All the models (excluding plants&trees + comfort chair) are made in DeleD. Exported to OBJ, coverted to FBX.
Than imported into UDK and changed the materials a bit.

Anyway, to check it out you can go to my site.
Link: http://martijnschram.com/

I'm still working on building a new and proper site to show my work.
When it's done it will also show ingame screenshots, close-ups and all sorts of things. Till than, enjoy the video.

Greetings,
Martijn

Together with 2 others we started a virtualisation company in The Netherlands, and were hoping to show more work of several development projects with a much higher quality standard begin february 2012.
Right now we are working on those new projects but are now allowed to show these to the public just yet. So, Feb. 2012 i will post a bunch of new screenshots and maby some video material.

I completely forgot that i can post these screenshots as well. These are from a test zone we used to test functionality with triggers, different lights and lots of programming. The final version of this zone does play a movie and dimms the lights. Including synced audio and a flytrough.

Wow, this is the very same arena of Immersive Environments I've been working within for the past 12+ years.

I have been involved with Onboarding, Training and Education, utilising Virtual Reality as a medium. With a background of over 35 years in Building/Construction, and fair use of AutoCad, I prefer to create virtual environments based upon the real world.

What you are showing here as a project, is exactly to kind of thing that greatly interests me. It looks very realistic. Excellent work.

So, after talking to the other guys (my co-owners) we desided that we can show you some experimental rendering within UDK (Unreal Development Kit). ALL models are made in DeleD, except for the flowers. After doing the level design in UDK i made a flytrough but it's not just a render. It's a real playable level. Now the recodering lagged so the framerate of the video is rather slow. Also, i am aware of the texture under the flower. I didn't had time to fix it....

Now that is really all i can show, simply because that's not a official project, but just a experimental scene to see the diverence between preformance and graphics. Dont forget to like the video ^^

I agree 100% with granada, it's very nice to things being developed like this. I like the screens of both DeleD and UDK.

I don't know UDK myself though. It seems it capable of rendering very pretty pictures - what kind of rendering does it support?

It's not really a program to render something. UDK stands for
Unreal Development Kit, it's basicly the Unreal Engine 3 but more user friendly. It's a AAA Game Engine, made by Epic Games. And it's FREE Wink

I just want to say that all models have been developed in DeleD (too bad deled does not have a FBX export)
After export we import it into UDK and start making it coooool.

Just check the new video's and let me know what you all think of it.
Or subscribe to the channel so you know about releases of new video's way before i remember to post them here ^^
