This is unbelievable! Chrono, that is great.
I always have deepest respect when i see people looking over some lines of code, they not have written themself and digging what's going on.
The new exporter saves my little world. Thanks again.

Only one question - is it possible to make the cease-angle-value editable?

This is what the new exporter will look like:

You can see the angle edit box in this picture harper.

You must select "Use crease angle" in the box above to make it editable. Smile

Glad I could help out! Wink

The gray text indicates that i'm not able to enter a value!

Oh.. then there must be a bug somewhere. I thought I have tested it enough. Confused

Restarting the plugin doesn't help? What about changing the option to "flat" and then set it back to "use crease angle"?

It's the default Case Select which buggs this. Set it to Flat and then back to Use crease angle and then the field is editable.

Edit: Same idea Smile

Ok, it's a minor bug actually. I'll fix that later.

Hello,

I was going to start a new thread about this, but it seems this thread should do just as well...

Are there any plans to make the DIF exporter for Torque/TGE available again? I know GG can no longer sell it, and doesn't officially support it, but there is a community (albeit small) who still uses either of those two engines, and Deled3D would be an ideal tool to use still.

Last I saw it was being made open source. Any updates on this, or has the project been abandoned?

Thanks Smile

Hi Wolfsong73, welcome to these forums! Smile

I don't think people are working on the Torque exporter anymore. But indeed, it has been made open source. Perhaps someone in your community can build upon it, or port it to another language if needed?

I'll ask around to see if someone can compile the Delphi code for the Torque exporter as I currently don't have a Delphi compiler installed myself. I'll let you know if I succeed. Smile

The Torque exporter sources are available (with the other major plugins) at

http://sourceforge.net/p/deled-plugins/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/

There have been some minor updates since we went open source, but the plugins are not being actively maintained AFAIK.

If no-one is able / available to compile these sources just give us a shout here, and I'll see if I can get around to setting up the required development environment and building the binaries. This might then require a fair bit of patience on your side, as I just started my own business life tends to be a tiny bit hectic at the moment... but I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually Very Happy

Ahh okay.

Eek.. How difficult is it to setup a Delphi compiler?

I'm 99.9% right-brained, so anything to do with programming scares me lol. I can give a shot, though, if it's not terribly complicated. Worst that can happen is I blow up my computer and turn the Earth's core into a black hole. No biggie.

:p

I dug up the last binary version we originally distributed (you know, for money Laughing ) and put it up for download at

http://www.delgine.com/plugins/authors/Delgine/PluginTorqueExporter.zip

Hope that helps! At least it will save you the trouble of having to hunt down (and shell out a rather unpleasant amount of money for) the appropriate Delphi version. Very Happy

Excellent!

Thank you so much! Very appreciated.

Now to improve my Deled skills... A little different getting used to this program (and this is coming from someone used to using Blender3D lol).

Thanks again!
