Cool, thanks for the offer. I won't be needing anything till after this contest.. If I decide to jump on another project before I leave for vancouver to get my degree at PAVI. (should be fun)
Should post this in a new thread but im to lazy..
The game is almost done, and there are 2 parts.. One part third-person space shooter, and another first-person shooter.. The space shooter is practically finished, just some tweaking to do.. I started on it 2 days ago... A little late to be implementing a new genre into the project, but it worked out
Heres the TPS part. If your wondering what this has to do with the 434 elements.. well... Your racing/fighting of robots and space pirates so they don't reach the space station and steal the artifact inside.. If only they knew what was in that space station waiting for them.......
Firing lasers:
Having fun doing barrel rolls and backflips.
Shooting a meteor before it destroys me!
And then we come down to the FPS part of the game. For some reason I can't properly light my .md2 models due to some kind of material bug in irrlicht.. Go figure.. But they don't look to bad and I don't have time to fix the bug so i'm just going to leave it alone.
Heres what a zombie looks like.. Ugly no?

Well, unfortunately... I didn't enter what I had to 4E4 because of technical difficulties.. ( 3D Canvas..... ) It kept corrupting my files every time I tried to animate something w/ bones. Don't trust it's .x importer! I thought I could straighten it out in time, but I was wrong.. Oh well..
I'll go ahead and post here what I did.. It's not exactly a complete failure.. I learned ALOT about making a game w/ a time restriction and choosing the right tools. And 3D Canvas was a very very bad choice.. In fact it was the only program I paid for..
I'll clean up what I got later today and post.. Its not much more then a basic framework for a space shooter and a FPS with some content. But it's better then nothing at all. |

Thats a shame Handless. Mabe you can put it in a different game engine to play with.
The screens look fantastic tho. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
