|
|
It's been a while since the last Everyone Models topic - time for a new one! This one can also serve perfectly as a practice model for the upcoming great Delgine Modeling Contest, which is to be organised after we release DeleD 1.5 with all its new goodies, the new Torque plugin and the new website!
Here I got this nice little picture of a fantastic Baneblade tank, created by Square from the 3D-Palace forums. Now, lots of work went into this tank (about 4 months) so I'm not saying you should equal this one, but well, give it a try and see how far you get in as little time as possible!
I think Dave is already seeing lots of extrude and insets being used here... Anyway, goodluck! |

Yeah
I see there won't be much place for boredom tomorrow
Good that you continue the EM topics & another modeling contest is also a great idea _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

And a very nice start it is! Now mind you, it's detail that's important here! So gimme lots of details!
To all others, please don't be scared by Dave's fastness in modeling. He's not from this earth, you see? |

Thanks, its not hard.built one set of tracks, copied them into four sets. Then its mainly inset & extrude,Decided to lower it to try and make it look more stealth like.

*Whoa* Dave, that machine looks like it is the size of a medium-sized city. With guns. Big ones. |

Alright, here is mine:
Click 1 Click 2 Click 3
A bit sporty. A sporty tank
It doesn't have so many details because I couldn't think of what belongs to a tank and what doesn't
Some 5000 polygons, without triangulation. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it
