1) how would i make a sword and can u give me a tutorial with pictures ?

2) and 2 how do i turn off snap to grid but thats extra

F8 toggles SNAP, you can see wether it's on or off on the status bar.

Double-clicking on the items in the status bar also toggles them. Wink

swords are not that hard. If you want something that is round like a scimitar, just extrude a thin a thin cube and move the vertices.

Weld all the vertices at the top to get your tip...
