Hi All,
Plugin had been converted to use the new plugin system.
Now I can add more options, as sample you can think that with new material system that will implemented you can add multitexture in your land.
This is the road of new plugin development.
For now I've just converted the old one to new plugin system, but look at this shot from the version I'm working on that I'll release someday in January:

As you can see I'm developing 3D view new version starting from DevLib terrain example, this way you can navigate terrain like in a FPS (this is not included in the actual plugin version Very Happy ).

I've sent an e-mail to Jeroen with the landscape plugin updated for DeleD 0.90.
So it's just a matter of a little time since you can use Advanced Landscape Plugin.

Bye.

The new landscape plugin has been put online at the Download area. Smile

Note that it contains a bug that confuses the 3D windows of DeleD and the plugin. Minimizing DeleD at runtime seems to be a workaround for now.

Hi All,
Advanced Landscape Plugin 2.0 is in full development state, the plugin now works exactly like the old one with just the exception that now you can navigate 3D space like a FPS.
Here a shot of my beta test plugin:

I'm resolving some bugs so, Smile be patient.
Bye

Hi,
I'm investigating this fact, but I haven't found troubles, cause once exported you obtain a correct mesh. I also lightmapped it (try a 16x16 generated mesh to convince of this).
Maybe you need a little more time to triangulate everything and to lightmap all due to terrain extension.
Remember the more poly the more time you need to do calculation!!!! Wink
Anyway if you have troubles please let me know.
Bye Wink

Without having seen any screenshots displaying erraneous lightmapping, I can say in advance that, at the moment, DeleD doesn't support 'normal groups', and lightmapping doesn't support normal smoothing. This makes the lightmapping ok for indoor scenes (you don't want light to be smoothed around the corners of a wall), but could be kinda bad for landscapes. The light would change abrubtly from one face to the next.

Hi All,
I've resolved all bugs of the new version with just an exception.
In the new version you can walk in the terrain modified and everything works but when you move your 3D window out of the main screen you'll get a lock of plugin and DeleD will be closed.
This won't happen if 3D view is maximized. After I've solved this (in a way or in another) I'll release it.
I'll like to rewrite UI too so, I'll need a little more time.
If someone would like to try this new version please send me an email and I'll send you a copy of Dll.
Bye Smile
