hmm maybe you mean this:

1. make a cube in Deled.
2. go to vertex mode and select all the vertex's of you cube.
3. now select the button "bevel" in the vertex mode menu on the right.
4. go to one of the four views and hold your left mouse button while you move you mouse over one of the four views.

you will see that you edges become smooth.

you can see the same thing in this tutorial:

http://www.delgine.com/software/deled/tutorials/showTutorial.php?tutorial=introductionUVEditing&topic=1651

hope this is what you mean.

Hi there, you can allways use a cylinder to cut out a arch.

This is just a cylinder with the bottun half pulled down.

& here it is cut out using CSG,just needs a bit of cleaning up to get rid of unwanted pollys.

This is one way of doing it Smile ,Hope it helps.

I think you need to use Inset on the inner polygon, position the new polygon to fit the entrance and then remove it.
