Whoa, now thatīs a very nice character model! What techniques did you use to create it? I think we really need tutorials on character modelling with DeleD...

She is very much available, free!

@Jeroen
I think an editable human model is better than a tutorial Wink

Her UV needs work and a girl can never go out with a messy UV map =]

I noticed the name of the model ends with .lwo. Does that for Lightwave object or something? Or was the model created with DeleD afterall?

Also, do you have a link to that guide to human modeling?

That's pretty amazing! All my human-models have dreadfuly failed (all I could get was like a rounded robot Laughing )

Yes deled, modelling (It can actually be used with any vertex\extrude capable modeling system. I'm cheating on the UV though and I've been experimenting on UV imports. I accidentally saved over my original ><'.

The tutorial was sort of over IM. I thought I'd leach while it was being written.

I'll smack final so that he will finish the tut completely, textures included, maybe I should convince him to re-write it for deled. hmmm.........

um sorry can't do it...

Scarlet failed to mention that the model took her 3 months of near constant work to get it 80% done in deled lite.

I showed her the basics which she took and ran from there.

This is the best modeling tutorial I have found:

The tutorial is identical to Scarlet's method used, there are also other tutorials on everything else at 3d Total. They apply because deled is that good.

The one major change is that we use 3D references for humans rather than background images.
