I made a video of me UVmapping the low poly character I recently showed in the 3d moddeling section.

There is no voice-over or text explaining, just look at it and learn from it Wink
It is a flash movie, If you don't have a flash player download this one:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UNLNLL2S

For the 27 minutes movie tutorial press the following link:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VH4PVW9P

To use the file with the Flash Player, just paste all the files from the 2 zips into the same map/directory and open the controller flash file.

This tutorial is a more advanced tutorial, to watch an UVmapping tutorial for beginners take a look here:
http://www.delgine.com/software/deled/tutorials/showTutorial.php?tutorial=introductionUVEditing&topic=1651

Hope this will help

Still downloading... megaupload.com is the suckiest of all file hosters when it comes to download speed. I'll maybe load it to another host in two days when I've got the full upload power available.

Ha, that's great work, I'm going to figure out if we can host it directly (preferably streaming from a different host as we are running low on bandwidth). I'd love to see more tutorial video's like that!

That's an awesome tutorial, but without a voice/text over, it's difficult to understand what you are doing.
Thanks for putting it together tho. Smile
