I voted everyone highly, and gave out a lot of 5s.

It's a shame some of the entries (including mine) went to the 2nd page, and some people might not even see them Sad

Couldn't all of the 13 entries be placed on a single voting page? (resizing a bit here, stretching a bit there...Wink )

Good point, yes they most definitely can, I'll just stretch up the page (somewhere tonight).

Oh, and thanks for mentioning the potential lowvoting, keep an eye open for stuff like that (PM is also fine). I will let loose both some statistical and in-detail analysis on the votes, and if needed corrections will be applied (again, both statistics and in detail, as we can simply see who voted what). I hold a Masters degree in Econometrics (which is 20% economics, 70% statistics, 10% random math) from way back when before I decided computers where more fun, so I am kinda supposed to be able to deal with stuff like this in a more or less responsible way. whoa! that sounds impressive PJ! Wink

Glad you can fix it! I must vote a 5 on everyone's project so that you don't track my "voting-stinginess" down, lol Wink

regards, and thanks for hearing us.

Guys, my external hard drive crashed where I had all the DeleD files on. I can't get it working. I'll need to send it to the manufacturer but I can't do that before the 29th, so I won't get it back before two weeks later. Also I don't know whether I'll get it back at all or a completely new drive.
I have no idea how this could happen.

any weird variation in electricity may fry them. Make sure you also get a PSU that will fry itself before letting the power overcharge reach your disks when these peaks happen. (a "kamikaze" PSU Wink )

Happened to me also while working on the compo, I thought I had lost everything, my 3 drives, my processor, my motherboard, my newly acquired videocard! Shocked Shocked Shocked My PSU literally exploded! It sounded like popcorn popping amplified through speakers! My wife thought the PC had fallen down to the floor, and even sparkles came out of the case and everything. My dad recommended me to have an extinguisher at hand, lol Wink (he's right). I had to buy another PSU, with real 550w support, but I found out that everything was intact, nothing fried. Just the PSU who's now in the "fallen heroes of deled" list of glory Wink

cheers,
Alvaro
