I agree it would be really nice if people showed of their progress, giving us a sneak peak into the modeling kitchen, so to say... but you really can't force them to! |

You can, alot of the very large competitions force you, or you won't be included as a finalist. _________________ Chickens RULE | www.elementrix.nl |

I'm happy to announce that i will be joining this compo.
My scene will be the abandoned goldmine. Let's hope i can make a good scene full of atmosphere. I've allready made some wooden beams and a really cool crate, working on the revolver now.
See ya, |

I've added this to my sig on a lot of forums where it was relevant. I'm suprised I didn't see you guys post. What happened to the post at Gamedev? That place gets so much traffic.
Why not polycount? _________________

The gamedev-post got swamped down the list shortly after we posted it. We'll probably bump attention there soonish with a newspost.
We were hoping someone else would post on polycount, as we are not active on their forums.
Thanks for promoting us at the relevant forums! Feel free to drop promotion suggestions (and report your promotion activities at other forums in more detail!) in the summer compo promotion thread. |

Hi Guys!!!!
It's been a long time! These sure are interesting and amazing times!!!
PJ and Jeroen, this compo is totally awesome!!! I hope I'm not too late to enter it. I still can't register my entry as I'm still deciding which of the topics to choose, but I'll start sketching ideas right now and I hope to be able to post some WIP pretty soon.
regards to all.

I made up my mind. I'm going for "medieval town". As I said before, I gotta sketch out some ideas first and then I'll have my thumbnail and screenshot ready. I'd also like to know if there's a link to post any WIP.
kind regards,
afecelis

Done!!! Just sketched out my idea and used the images for my entry.
Now let's start organizing stuff for the map. Hope to be able to post some WIP soon.

Alvaro |

thanks for the warm welcoming (back) guys.
Based on the work posted so far in the forums I see the competition is gonna be very tough! I see lots of new members with amazing skills, and the usual ones have sharpened their abilities too!. I hope I can keep up with the contest's expectations.
But it's always great to be back in such a friendly and cozy community.
regards,
Alvaro F. Celis
