What exactly is meant by that? The geometry has to be done with DeleD? What about UV unwrapping? Could I hypothetically use a tool like tatoo (I don't know recent tools that do that) to paint on a model?
In other words: Is it allowed to manipulate a model made with DeleD in another tool?
Mapping the zombie is almost done, so I probably won't go for it anyway, I'm just curious.

To play devil's advocate, that IS a bit vague. Is it geometry or is it also UV?

It CAN be construed perhaps to be just geometry because you cannot make textures in DeleD, if everyone uses textures they made in something like Photoshop or Gimp, then technically the entry was NOT made entirely in DeleD and if everyone's doing that which may violate that point, then it only applies to geometry right? Of course you can create the textures in whatever application you want, or download them from the internet, as long as they are free to use.

However, everything else (geometry, UV mapping, lightmapping, etc) has to be done in DeleD. Also, the screenshot should not be post-processed in a 2D art program (straight image format conversion and/or rescaling is allowed).

In case of doubt, apply common sense, or ask away.

I've added links to all the Work in Progress threads to the initial post. If I've missed out on anybody's thread, just yell, and I'll add it a.s.a.p.

Great! Thanks PJ for taking the time to organize those links. Wink

That is funny Smile
I guess I have to admit, I was a little inspired by the other entries.
But then how many ways are there to add paper lanterns to your scene?
I was thinking oil lamp, but it would have been too small to see in my scene.

You still have a week, go for it! Very Happy

Lit oil lamps in an abandoned gold mine... why not let a ghost live there? Some of them are afraid of the dark too, you know? He would appreciate an oil lamp or two. Wink

Or zombies of course! Very Happy
