It has been long time since i posted to delgine forum but because old members are coming back alive, ive desided to give a try on this compo. I only hope that i can get at top three so i can ask jeroen to send me a copy of Deled Pro as an reward. Wink

My idea for the entry was simple: cartoon-ish map settled at small island in middle of nowhere. Island would contain an volcano and a small house.

No time for the screenshots:

Map isnt finished yet but ill post updates when i get done some significant improments.

Comments & critique is welcome as always.

I really like that. I think the leaves part of the tree could use a bit of work. The texture you use for the dirt and the cave reminds me a bit of that talking turd on south park.

OMG a turd volcano. Laughing
i actually can see what you mean. hmm basically reason for textures are so simple is that im a bad texture artist. Embarassed
Im still working on the scene and ill try to make that rock texture less turd alike. There is still alot todo so i havent spend much attention to textures yet.

thanks for the comments daaark, you have just might made this map even better. Wink

I love that cave entrance sign. Like you're going in there to gamble.

Damn, if you guys keep posting at that speed, I'm gonna have to keep up.

I like what you did with the sky and sea. Just the fog doesn't fit there very well imo, maybe you should play around with the color a bit. Also, you could try making the fog a bit red or orange when you take a screenshot in the vulcano.

I changed the fog color and here is the result from inside volcano. Outside it dosnt work that good because it makes the sea too dark.

Here's there screenshot:

I also add some new props outside so here's screenshot of that too.

Thanks all for replies everyone.
