Hi all,

Currently V-Packer is being developed.

V-Packer "packs" your original application into a compact, selfcontained, single-executable. Dynamic libraries (dll) and other kinds of files that your original application depends on - all can be "squeezed" in that file. Each V-Packered application has his own individual work environment - with a registry, swap file, etc. So, when the application runs on this - in a sense -virtual machine, it doesn't require any external resources or special privileges.
"Packed" applications require no special privileges to be run; they don't affect the host's shared resources, such as disk space or registry, as all embedded objects would be extracted directly into memory and use the virtual space and registry instead of the physical ones. File changes can be optionally be stored in an encrypted archive.

Update Smart Packer Pro!

Changes:
- improved single instance checking
- plugin with return value 0 terminates the application; other values will start packed executable
- download automatically for updating packed files

Seems a good product.. I do have a question..
When it says the folders are 'cloaked/hidden' I'm assuming they are given system status and are simply hidden from the average Joe windows user who has never looked in the folder options menu?

You are mentioning our other product Smart Packer which uses a filter driver to hide folders/files.

Smart Packer Pro uses a virtual filesystem which is only available to the packed executable and other files.

Today we have released Smart Packer Pro 1.7!

The new features are:
1. New run-time engine
2. On demand feature (will extract file on demand)
3. Version info can be altered
4. Unicode support in GUI and run-time engine
5. Link to web page for free and commercial plug-ins

Improvements:
1. Adding included files easier
2. Overall better performance
3. GUI improvements (we hope Wink

), more to come in future!
3. Minor bug fixes

Of course it is a free upgrade for registered customers!
