Perhaps it's a shetland pony (has short legs, and extra hair around hooves like that):

Hi folks using DeleD;

after being ill for a long time, i'm back - and like to share my models with a group of programers, who needs work of an 3D-artist. But - i would prefer to give all needed models to one project. So i decided to show all of you, what i've done in the recent months. My page is in german, but when you know that "zurück" means "back", then you are able to browse through the models i made with Deled for my project "My Ideas For A better MMO".
You can see there a wide variety of things, from houses down to knives and scissors, and while i am still developing all things needed to make a liveful little world, with in- and outside views of many houses. So my wish is that all this may be used in a game- but - i'm not a programmer.
So take a look of it, and contact me, if you know a way to see my content integrated in a game-project.
So please visit http://www.harpersoft.de/Meynis/Making_Of/index.htm.

I think, i planned worse. Only to show some pictures to show what may be in further coming MMO's, it's too much work for.
Only thinking at better "crafting"-interfaces lead to make complete interiours of all that well known places for crafters.
At first i think about a forge; with all those tools you need for forging a simple horseshoe: Here you need coal and wood for the fire:

Good (that means challenging) crafting can start here: what kind of fuel, and how much...

Then, in the fireplace, taking care of colour of your metal, untlil it's fine.

When it got the right temperature, choose the right tool and do...
In Everquest2 there are, along the crafting-process, some accidents you have to react - all this will need an animation,
and a button to react. I'm now building an interface for crafting, and that need alot of details. Good to know, that icons
are very more easily builded with 3D-models. But it is an awesome amout of work to do it all. Pooh.

So again: If any programmer, bound to a relative new project, is looking for better 3d's, contact me.
Only for my purpose i do too much, i think. See the above entry, where you can see what i've done until now.

So if anyone building a 3D-project where one of my models could fit, please make a test and tell me an object or scene to create. For FREE !

I'm co-owner in a 'Immersive Environments Solutions' company. Basically we provide virtual reality environments with functionality for business solutions, sometimes depending on specific requirements from a client, and or, by creating a selection of ready made solutions for the Adhoc client.

We operate within several Virtual platforms, offering a range of services. Our most recent is the development of a Browser hosted environment, whereby with our wrapper/thin client solution, we can host virtual environments in a secure way.

Client sometimes simply want a meeting, training, onboarding and or educational environment, maybe consisting of a number of seats for attendees, media display boards etc (all standard stuff).

Some require Onboarding and Inhouse Training for employees, or locational/directional information systems for clients visiting their premises, so they can familiarise themselves before arriving. In those instances, we have to reproduce their exact buildings etc (not in every detail, only common areas) from blue prints and high resolution photographs (which we also use for texturing). We may also reproduce meeting/board rooms.

Doing this type of modelling, requires a good eye and discipline to detail. Everything is produced to real scales (1:1) in the modelling process. This is ported to our hosting platform, where physics and scripted functionality are added, along with our internal scripting, before being encrypted and hosted on secure servers.

Is this something that interests you and anyone else here? I've seen the talent here, and used DeleD myself, so I know what its capable of.

If you can create whole themed scenes to real scales, create models for content that can be added to scenes, create UV mapping from either textures and or photographs (supplied by professional photographer), post you name here, or drop me a IM. I am compiling a list or resources and people that can work with our company.

Isn't that horse a Cob? The Romans use Cobs for normal calvary and shire type horses for heavy calvary and hauling. Cobs are similar to Shires but have shorter legs and snouts, similar to Harpers model.

Great interior! Very Happy

I really like the textures and the lighting. You should however use less compression cuz i see a lot of JPEG artifacts.

Keep it up!

In some ways I like how the artifacts have affected the pictures - makes them look more like drawings LOL

Awesome modeling skills though!! Smile

cheers,
Paul

Thanks for Your helpful comment about my horse, AWM Mars.
Of course i modelled it with a background photo - but i don't know the race of that horse. So i did not made the legs too short.
Thanks Chrono and Paul,
about the JPEG-compression: this is made by the DeleD-screenshot. Is there a way to change it's rate?
I have updated the third picture, now using Alt-Print in the Levelwalker and my painting program.
This Levelwalker doesn't work correct on my machine - "K" is for collision on/off AND centers my position.

EDIT: I have found it. You will see no more ugly artifacts.

Hi folks.
In my first "coming out" someone said, Meynheim needs animation. Okay i thought, and produced som anims for my "crafting-GUI". Here are the first ones - but not with Deled-Animation; i use a good old GIF-Animator for bringing some "action" on the screen. MMO'lers will know what's going on. Here they are:

http://www.harpersoft.de/Meynis/deled/hammer1.gif

When it's getting too cold you have to:

http://www.harpersoft.de/Meynis/deled/balg.gif

and finally cool down:

http://www.harpersoft.de/Meynis/deled/eimer.gif

I know, they couls have some more frames - but this anims only demonstrate, what you were doing while processing goodies. And they are made within one day.

Have fun - with DeleD !!

One by one i solve the things to present you my ideas.
The town "Meynheim" is half complete. So i take a photo from above:

Nearly all main buildings are made. In the moment i am working about
the "inner views" of some houses. You could enter the herbary to buy things,
and the bakery to provide you with necessary food.
Next big event will be the crafting. See the above shown little animations.
Then there is going out and fight some monsters - poooh.
Good to know, that this will never be a complete game. This job is impossible
for an individual, believe me.
(Please ignore the LOD-artifacts especially at the river...)
