The chain link fence is a .png texture with alpha blending on the gaps, nothing to fancy and much lower poly than what you suggested Rolling Eyes .

Hey dj, well if you're talking about the chainlink fence posts, then yeh they're simply cylinders that have been extruded, but if its the actual mesh you're talking about, then thats just the alpha blending in another app (either Giles or DB depending on which one you're talking about).

Hope that answers your question anyway.

Ok I'm at school and rather bored, free lesson and school block almost any semi-interesting site, bar this Very Happy .

Both me and Khris have now finished all out exams and coursework for the time being and can now start to work on MOOD again without feeling too bad about it, I'll start pokeing aruond with my engine soon and get somthing that atleast plays, you know, physics, sound, graphics and all that tosh. Then I can have Khris happy and start doing all the fancy bits he wants and teh gameplay.

When I get stuff to show I'll post it.

I'm also learning to use wxWidgets so I can make some development software, don't worry you're still our modeler, but I'll be able to make extra small bits.

Ok, 45 minuets to blow, what now. Ahh the site, some of you may have noticed that the site is still down, thats all Khris' fault, I've got all the site code up and running I'm just waiting for him to get me all the site art. I may actually redo it again anyways as I've recently worked out what to do for CSS, so I can make it nice and fancy with that. Then theres the MOOD site to come after that when we have stuff to show you, I'm looking forward to it, mainly because it proves that we're not both just being lazy.

Meh that'll do for now, I'll go find some other stuff to do. Wonder if I could install all the needed fines and software to work on MOOD on an external HDD which I can bring to school?? Or just buy a laptop.

The chain link fence is just an image with an alpha layer, the alpha channel allows the gaps to be transparrent. Nothing too fancy.
