I came across this bug when using the Object Inspector window to edit the name of an object, seems the wrong input field has been initialised, making it impossible, without using the Right click, rename object, function.

You can only edit the 'Name' portion, which obviously doesn't alter anything.

This the latest build/version, downloaded and installed fresh.

I was aware of this bug, but it wasn't immedately clear how to solve it. It's allready in the bugtracker or on the forum somewhere. It doesn't have a high priority so I didn't tackle it.

That bug must have slipped in somewhere in the latest updates.

Fixed it. Thanks for the report! Smile

Did you update the 'Update' exe file linked from soundforge? I just D/L and installed it, no change.

No sorry, I should have said this fix will be available in 2.46.

Do you need it now? I can set you up with a separate download.

Do note that renaming the object can also be done using right-click on the object in the Scene Inspector (if you didn't already know).

Yes, I already mentioned that way Very Happy

I can wait for the next release np. I do use the function, especially when models get very complicated.
