I'm using Deled to create architecture for my 3d rendered scenes. I render them in Vue.

By the time I graduate next semester I'd like to have a very simple FPS game to show my employer...that is if I get a job with a 3d game company. I've got the programming skills but not the artwork skills, so here I am. Smile

I'm not quite sure which engine I'm going to use though. Most likely Irrlicht for graphics, modified for sound and physics support. T3D is bloated and no longer supported and C4 is over my head.

Hi John, a bit off topic but... checkout Vast Park http://www.vastpark.org/ for developers and http://www.vastpark.com/ for the glossy versions.

I like the plugin architecture and modular design. I'm beta testing version 1.5 atm, which is coming along nicely. If you have 3DMax or Maya, then there are imml plugins that allow you to export your whole scene into a scene imml (xml schema) format directly. Saves all that collada models importing (textures upside down, having to set model and images folders etc).
