Thx,

And yep, everything in the project (not-including character models) are skinned with DeleD. It's a bit difficult at times though, especially when a tilted polygon rotates the UV cords, causing the textured to become distorted when the polygon is scaled. Theres no good way to rotate textures back to normal either, besides cycle. Mad

Well, I'm impressed by your work! I didn't think it was possible to perform texturing like that in DeleD using the current functions available. Can we use one of the pictures in our gallery? Very Happy

Btw, rotating UV's is being worked on. Wink

Sure thing, help yourself to anything I post here.. I'm pretty sure you have the right considering you guys created the program I used to make'em!

The texuring was pretty simple actually, I can send you the .dmf if you want to take a closer look. In fact, once I get everything organized and finished, I'll put together a .dmf/prefab/x pack for whoever wishes to use them. Cool

Just managed to finish a space pirate model ( kinda looks like a ninja to Confused ). It's not textured yet, I'll start on it tonight but it's 7:00 am here so I got to get some sleep soon.. =/

Assuming you created that model in DeleD.... how on earth did you accomplish that? Shocked I always thought that, given the current set of 3D tools, modelling characters wasn't really possible! I can't even imagine what you're able to do with the new lowpoly stuff I'm programming right now (bevel vertex/edge, merge polygons, collapse edge etc etc etc).

Laughing I didn't say it was easy, but ya that was created entirely in DeleD. I can send ya the .dmf file if you want?

Caught you editing your post Smile

Ya those routines your programming now would come in REALLY handy, but it's still possible to make cool looking characters with the existing functionality!

The problem with the bandana is that it will probably make his head look a bit less ninja-like probably... maybe he should take his bandana on and off all the time Very Happy Besides that... awesome!

Well he isn't really supposed to be a ninja! Just kinda came out that way Confused

I'm re-writing a lot of technical methods I use for the gameplay dynamics, in hopes to make it more polished then the previous version. Once done, I'll finish up texturing on a couple models, then animate, then implement into game. After that, I'll touch up the first section a bit and hopefully, just hopefully, get a working demo posted. Should be an interesting endeavor. Cool

Actually, I don't need anymore textures for the maps/levels. I'll be needing character skins, which i'll probably end up making myself. Mad

Thanks for the link anyway. There are lots of good textures on there.

A little update:

I really really want to get a demo up by Monday, but I keep running into bugs, errors, and just plain bad luck.. Evil or Very Mad It has pretty much pushed me back the entire development, which is the #1 reason I'm rushing to finish this on time. Mad Anyways, some progress;

Showing off the new cursor style and new improved lighting effects.
