To setup a skybox in DeleD you need six "Sky" Textures. These Textures must have a dimension of two (2,4,8,16,32,128,256,512,1024...) Pixels height and width. The Skybox is basically a Cube which is infinite in his size. This is the most case in videogames why you never can the limits of the sky. You don't have to create a cube inside DeleD - because DeleD has a pre-build Skybox system.

Configure the Skybox

Open the Options window (ALT+O) in DeleD and switch to the Environment Tab and take a look to the Skybox Settings. You can now click on the [...] Icon to choose the textures. The textures can be saved everywhere onto your harddisk because DeleD has no feature to export the Skybox in any way. Make sure you have checked Show Skybox or press anytime F3 to show/hide the Skybox.

Example

This is a simple example for the use of a skybox. Note that the "Down Texture" is a plain, one-color Texture. The Skybox is always textured, no matter if you are working in Wireframe, Solid View, Textured or Lightmapped.
